Politics

Dan,
By some light, I think you are quite an anarchist. Trying to avoid coercion and manipulation. There's a certain deontological goodness to that, which I respect a great deal.

A great deal.

But.

But, I find it limiting.

So, you know, there's a spectrum between anarchy and fascism, right? I think that it's boring, and, in some way, morally wrong it's to hang out in just one place. To only experience what one gets from being so much an anarchist or so much a fascist. You aren't allowing yourself the full range of human experiences. I know it's difficult for others to know you and for you to know yourself when you don't tie yourself down to this one thing, but still...

...

So anyway, what does that make me?

(this epistle was wholly provoked by reading this and this essay addressing its philosophical implications)
