Why I'm like a 17 year old girl

I adore this song

Seriously, could there be more girls with guitars and cameras posting this song on Youtube. It's possible, but unlikely. Even worse, they can't maintain a tempo.

Although, this is a good version, but they're, like, in a real band. And they get that you're supposed to yell sometimes. Or else it's just lame high school emo-singing. This way, it's the cool emo-singing that defines the genre for me.

You're all like, oh look, he just discovered youtube. How lame. Fair enough, but please find a better example of how I'm like a 17 year old girl for me.

I think my point is that I find it difficult to resolve this facet of my personality with other ones. This fits in with my earnestness and idealism and romanticism. And is contradicted by my ennui and cynicism and realism.

Clearly, I need to learn guitar, get a camera and sing to youtube. Then I can be one of them!
