I've been watching the first season of Tell Me You Love Me. This show is intense. Not Shortbus intense, although there are elements of that. It's more like Sports Night. Much better consistency. Relies on characters and not just writing.
My favorite thing is at the end of each episode (I'm up to 5). Every episode it manages to build up this great inertia (I'm thinking like on a merry go round). Your spinning with it, but it's going so fast--the emotions are so real--that you have to jump off. And in that moment when you jump, it grabs you and holds you right there. Goddamn it. I'll need more episodes.
