Invectives

How should someone who is 'cultured' interact with someone who is less so? I'll do the defining of 'cultured' later.

My knee jerk reaction (and usual action) is to exaggerate the irresponsible beliefs they hold. They are uncomfortable with the diversity of religion: Use funny curses from the 19th century. They don't like that there are differences between people based on their race/culture: utilize subtly racist terminology. They are uncomfortable with sex: make gestures at my crotch, etc.

This strikes me as highly immoral (immoderate?) behavior on my part. To balance that is the highly immoral behavior of these people who avoid at all costs being 'cultured'. I want the vicious cycle to stop. I want people to want to stop, to listen. Fights should be sparring matches, not street brawls.

'Cultured' involves holding no opinion verily sacrosanct. This talent is acquired by extensive exposure to variety. The world is opened up to moral ambiguities and is better off because of it.
