Cleavage, once removed

I love these fashion diavlogs and I don't think it's a novelty thing. To explain I have to conceptualize women or something..

On the one hand you have the Christian idea of woman the part of man's being providing wholeness. This is the feminine 'other' in a truly alien sense. This is how I feel a lot of my inter-gender interaction functions. The woman is acting differently because of the male presence there or that my maleness is somehow acknowledged. This is all implicitly understood, of course.

This diavlog, on the other hand, is two women communicating with each other about women. Both are confident and successful. The conversation is so compelling. I would characterize it as a flow.

I don't believe that it is necessary that two women be talking for such a flow to happen. A majority of my favorite authors are simply women talking to themselves in this same fashion. It's like I've discovered a wonderful, underused source of power. Kind of like a 5-year-old in the kitchen with mommy realizing that she, the creator, can call forth cookies.

Now that I'm infantalized, I'll stop.
